You don't do like some authors and make everything look like it is so easy, like being a professional full time writer is a piece of cake. You bring the real sense of it into perspective, and frankly, make me feel better about the fact that I have such a hard time writing and committing to finishing my novel. You are a great author, and I know that taking this step will help you get what you want into perspective and get your creative juices flowing! I know it probably doesn't mean much coming from someone you have only exchanged a few emails with, but I'm proud that you took this step.
